Welcome to SITKA SATURDAY (AND SUNDAY)
We’ve got this little event around these parts that we call SITKA SATURDAY. It’s basically where we roll off as many Sitka items in a 24 hour period that we can.
Here’s how it works.
- The first item goes up at 11pm
- Once it sells out, the next item will come up again
- IF, IF an item goes too long without selling out we’ll pull it and put the next item up
- We reserve the right to determine how long is too long but if you comment on the forum that it’s been “too long” we’ll listen.
- The fun ends at 11pm MST Saturday SUNDAY night.
* if the fun hasn’t lasted long enough then we’ll continue into Sunday. Because of the demand and the clamor for the Ascent pants, we’re extending this party into Sunday

Edit: Since we’re not listing all the items from this weekend as forum entries we thought that we’d keep a list here as a little recap.
- The Sitka Summit Zip-T started things off, this time at $38.29. It was pulled early thanks to a soccer game.
- Some said it was T-Shirt Tuesday when the Core Zip was next. That might be a classic line.
- Sikta Cap in Mossy Oak Treestand and Realtree AP brought out a few cheers.
- Hello Traverse Gloves.
- The masses raised their voices and we listened - The Sitka Ascent Pants started off Sitka Sunday.
- The 2007 90% Pants are a solid performer. Mostly big sizes this go around.
- Last item for the Sitka madness was supposed to be the Core Crew shirt but we had a glitch so the Summit Crew Shirt was a pinch hitter.

Kendall- If we end up ordering more than one item today, will you be shipping them to us packaged together(saving us $ on shipping)? I can understand if you don’t want to take the time to see which people had multiple orders throughout the day. But I also know that I would order more items if I didn’t have to pay $10 shipping for each of them. Thanks!

Ty, you’re right it’s a bit of a pain, (I’m not going to lie, it takes time) but yes, we will combine shipping and refund the difference if you order multiple items. Our customers are worth the extra work on our end.

Uh, let’s see - 90% pants in Mothwing are a little down the list but there’s a chance they’ll show up late tomorrow. (yes, we’re going to extend this into tomorrow)
The cap has only been up for a bit. Let’s give it an hour or so. Guys who actually got out to do some playing today should be getting home right about now, no? Lucky suckers.
I bought one the last time they were up for sale and love it! It’s the best “baseball” style hat I own. Not only does the fabric stretch, but so does the band around the hat. I’ll buy enother one if you throw it in with the Core top I just ordered:)

Love the t shirt tuesday smack. I just snuck a peek between soccer games. Like many others, I am looking for Mimicry pants or mimicy period. I have bought the whole set up over the last few months except tall pants. Love to close the deal this weekend. Is their a camofire rehab?

Come on ascent pants. I am almost hoping my 9 month olds gets up tongiht so I can check the new item at midnight.

Jeremy - hang tight, technical difficulties. I think our system is on overload from today. Time to feed the mice so they’ll run faster and charge this thing back up.
Tyler - I’m afraid this is going to be a pants day. Well, we’ve got a couple of jackets but not a full run like we did on the 90% Lite Jacket from this past week.

Kendall, I was contemplating whether or not to pick up a few pairs for Joel… as I was thinking he may be a size L-Tall. Unfortunately he’s out of town so I couldn’t get ahold of him. I did end up ordering 2 pairs for him in a size L. Could you combine that order since I paid double shipping? If you want, you can combine the 4 Zip-Ts that he picked up earlier as well… your call.
Any vests coming today, I know in an earlier post prior to Sitka weekend, you said vests in the next couple of weeks. Not sure if that is still the case or if you are going to put them in Sitka Sunday. Thanks.

If Mountain Mimicry is so 2007, then Mossy Oak and Realtree are so 1990s. Give me something from this decade.

Jeff - At least I’m able to grant someone’s wish. 90% pants in Mountain Mimicry is on the site now…and at the lowest price we’ve ever offered it at.
Celsius Vests are a hot commodity. We’re working on getting some. Sorry gents. And sorry for the Ascent pants being up for so long. I was watching them but forgot to “flip the switch” before going to church. Am I going to hell because I used my iPhone in church to push the 90% pants up?

Crazy thing was, people were (slowly) buying the pants. I had to let it run for a

Bah, I was hoping for the Mossy Oak Treestand Core shirts… I’ve now bought MO pants, jacket, vest, hat, etc. but you keep offering the ‘07 shirts in mimicry. I’ll just have to keep an eye out and hope that you get some of the ‘08 Core line in the future.
A man with a 40″ waist and a 32″ inseam is almost square. I’ll beat you could sell out of the bigger sizes in tall lengths not just skinny guys have long legs. Jeff
Jeremy - I was hoping to get the Core Crew shirt on the site but we’ll get that one up within the next two weeks. @Jeff - Yea, tell me about it. They just didn’t make enough tall sizes for us to pick up. We’ll keep hunting for some tall sizes from Sitka as well as the other manufacturers.

I just got done utilizing my Sitka gear for the weekend during my first Colorado archery hunt. What an amazing product line… I have no complaints on any piece of the Sitka gear that I wore this season. My season came to a bittersweet end as I managed to take a 5-pt bull on the 2nd day of the hunt… couldn’t be more stoked! I say it’s bittersweet because now I have to wait for another 12 months to do it again. Thanks again for all the gear Kendall!
Congrats Jeremy! That’s awesome news. Yes, although I’m a bit frustrated at passing up shots at cows to hold out for a bull, this does mean I’m still hunting (as much as my wife wishes I would have taken those shots). Great feedback on the Sitka gear - I echo your same sentiments regarding the items I’ve used so far. I hope you have pics and details you can share that I can post here. Save them for the upcoming contest I’ll be announcing soon.
If it’s a “who spent the most on camofire” contest, I might just be in the running… At any rate, I have lots of details, and will be saving them for said contest. Keep after that bull… we are still in pre-rut in the portion of CO that I was hunting and it should get really good in the upcoming week or two.
